A friend of mine just told me about her success on this, so I checked out the site. As I'm reading about this, I also see other weight-loss tips, such as to eat a piece of fruit to help decrease the appetite before meals, to eat slowly, drink enough water, etc. Isn't this normal weight-loss advice, and won't these tips work regardless if you get the staple? I guess what I"m asking is, if you tell someone to eat right and exercise and take a pill, and they lose weight, was it from the pill or the advice you told them??
I'm SO CLOSE to my goal weight, that these last few lbs are crawling off of me, and it's so frusterating. I'd love to have the results I've been reading on these boards, but I'm afraid that if I get this done, it won't work at all.
My highest weight was 210lbs, and my goal weight is 110. I'm currently 128, and like I said, the weight loss is c-r-a-w-l-i-n-g off me.
I read that it worked wonders for people, and then not at all for others, and I'm just confused and don't know what to do or who to believe. |

| Hi, I truly understand your concerns. First let me congratulate you on your weight loss...that is soooo awesome. I want to stress that the staples are NOT magic, they don't get placed in your ears and "poof" you are thin. They are placed in between 2 target ear reflex points that will help with appetite, stress, tension and cravings. Of course I give weight loss tips on this site and no it doesn't necessarily mean if all these steps are taken that one is going to lose weight. If pain, stress, tension and metabolism are the problem, then the staples can be very effective. The staples give people the motivation to be responsible for their weight loss. I DO NOT believe in "diets". I believe in a lifestyle change in one's eating habits. I get frustrated myself when people call and state the staple made them gain weight.....HA! Everyone is accountable for their own weight and if they don't listen to the signs the staples give them and quit eating when their full, then sadly, they won't lose. I hope I cleared things up for you and I appreciate your candidness with me. I wish you the very best of luck! |
