Hello. I am located in Missouri and would like to start doing the ear stapling. I am a licensed cosmetologist.

Is there training available in Missouri?

Well, I called the State Board and they said that you have to be a licensed acupuncturist to do ear stapling in Missouri because you are puncturing the ear. I told her I was a licensed Cosmetologist and had done ear piercing so was that considered acupuncture and she said no ear piercing is for beauty....hmmmm

There are many piercing shops in Missouri and they pierce various parts o f the ear and don't have to be a licensed accupuncturist.

Is there anything I can do?
